Billing and Credits

HireSalt uses credits. Scoring one resume costs 1 credit. New accounts get 50 free credits, with no card required, so you can screen a real role before you buy anything.

Credit Packs

Packs are one-off purchases, not subscriptions.

• Starter: 250 credits.
• Growth: 500 credits. Includes: Threshold impact report.
• Agency: 1,000 credits. Includes: Threshold impact report, White-label reports.

Payments are processed by Razorpay.

Subscriptions

The Scale and Enterprise plans are billed yearly. While a plan is active, scoring does not use credits.

You can cancel a plan from the Credits page. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and your access continues until the end of the paid year.

Checking Your Balance

Your current credit balance is shown in the top navigation bar. Click it to go to the Credits page where you can purchase more. Before you score a batch, the upload page shows how many credits it will use and marks any files beyond your balance.

When a credit is returned

If HireSalt cannot read a resume, for example a scanned image with no text, the file is marked Failed and its credit is returned. Uploading the exact same file twice is skipped with no charge.

Credit Expiry

Purchased credits never expire. They stay in your account until you use them. Credits cannot be transferred between accounts, but a team can share one balance through credit pooling.

Refunds

Unused credits can be refunded if you ask soon after purchase; credits already used for screening are not refundable. The refund policy has the time limits and how to ask.
