List View and Grid View

Last updated

The Candidates tab offers two ways to review scored candidates: List view and Grid view. Both views show the same candidates and respect the same active filters. Choose the one that matches your current reviewing style.

Switching Views

Two toggle buttons appear in the Candidates tab header bar, to the right of the filter controls. Click the list icon for List view or the grid icon for Grid view. The active view is highlighted with the terracotta border. Your selection is remembered for the duration of the session.

List View

List view is the default. Every scored candidate appears as a row in a scrollable table. Each row shows:

  • Score ring with the numeric match score
  • Candidate name and letter grade badge
  • Triage chip (Strong, Maybe, or Skip)
  • Seniority trajectory arrow
  • First line of the AI reasoning excerpt
  • Shortlist star

List view is best for a first-pass scan of the full pool. The AI reasoning excerpt lets you read a summary for many candidates in quick succession without navigating away from the list.

Grid View (Master-Detail)

Grid view splits the screen into two panes. The left pane shows compact candidate cards; the right pane shows the full detail panel for the selected candidate.

Left pane — candidate cards

Each card shows the score ring, candidate name, grade badge, and triage chip. Cards are paginated at 10 per page. Use the Prev and Next pagination buttons at the bottom of the left pane to move between pages.

Right pane — candidate detail

Clicking a card loads the full detail panel on the right, including the score breakdown by category, the complete AI reasoning, the Career Story panel, and action buttons (Shortlist, Reject, Email). The Prev and Next navigation buttons at the top of the detail panel move to the previous or next candidate in the ranked list. You can also use the up and down arrow keys on your keyboard to step through candidates without touching the mouse.

When to Use Each View

  • List view — best for scanning reasoning excerpts across a large pool to decide which candidates warrant a closer look.
  • Grid view — best for focused review of your top candidates, where you want the full detail — Career Story, score breakdown, and action buttons — immediately visible without navigating to a separate page.
